When you think about your life, the people and experiences you've, had how many do you credit as part of your own doing? How many of these people or events seemingly came into your life without desire or invitation? What choice do you have in your job, your kids, where you live, or even what's in your heart. In this week's Sun-day design I want you to think about what do you really choose and draw into your life and consider what would happen if you believe you choose everything? Think of the power you would feel right now if you really believed that everything and everyone in your life serves a key role in your personal growth and expansion. For example, on some level did you choose an emotionally unavailable partner because your spirit knew these type of relationships would make you more aware emotionally and receptive to love? When you think about choosing your partner, you know that is a active choice you make. You also make passive choices, simply by not choosing. Even the act of avoidance; disregard or denial are still acts of choice. Belaboring over a decision is a choice to sit in the angst or pain a little longer. This delay may serve a greater purpose and may be a necessary part of your transformation. By choice or not, the pain promotes your expansion. Holding a framework of choice does not detract from preordained destiny, unfortunate circumstances or direct authorship in writing your life story. Choice gives you the gears to fly your plane no matter the terrain outside. Look at your own life. Accept as fact that you chose your job. Since you chose and the people you meet there everyday, how would you interact with your colleagues in a space of appreciation because for all the good or all the bad they represent in your eyes they are here to help you grow. The same is true for relationships. Do you chose your lover or friend throughout time and space or appreciate your paths crossing if but for a season? There's no right or wrong answer. Your belief is yours to choose. Leave a comment and share what you're actively choosing for your life today.

How often do you think to yourself that if you had the opportunity to choose and decide the course of action for your life you would be so much better off? A day doesn't go by that you don't think that once you're in a position to choose your new career, home, where you vacation or even the people in your life you would be so happy. You have the opportunity to choose everything in your life - or certainly your reaction to what you experience and are presented with everyday, whatever position you currently find yourself in. In this week's Sun-day design I want you to calculate the real price of freedom and determine the time and resources you need in order to direct key areas of life the way you desire. When you embrace your freedom to choose the career you love, the partner that pushes you beyond your comfort zone, or the financial standing that keep you thriving for more, you inevitably accept the responsibility that comes with it. The moment you choose the life an entrepreneur you are deciding to invest your money, time, talent, energy, expertise in something I hope you love, or certainly will profit from financially. The investment in channeling your personal resources into your business means less time for friends, money for extraneous things, fewer social excursions, and less social media views. The price you pay for your business is real and personally taxing. You have to believe it's worth it to continue. It's your turn. What's the price you pay to develop the business of your dreams, to raise a family, to live in the house you call your home, to date, to love, to be the best you that you know how to be? Consider the hours, money, brain-power, heartache, and love you pour in. Appreciate the ingredients to success. Share your story and all the ways you've invested in your dreams. Perfectionism gets a bad rap! As an evolving perfectionist I know firsthand the benefits in the pursuit of perfection as well as the real risk of not appreciating the scenery because you're so fixated on one ideal spot. There is a distinct difference between obsessing about details and an authentic commitment to quality. You invest so much time in "work" whether for your own business or your employer's, of course you want to feel proud of what you produce. Well getting to that place of pride takes effort. It would be like saying you don't mind hitting the gym 3 hours, five days a week only to have to the same weight or physique. That would be ludicrous and pretending you don't want to be perfect at anything is just as silly. In this week's Sun-day design I want you to find the plus side of perfection by redefining what perfection means for you. Think of something in your life that you love and strive to be an expert in. This is very often your career, favorite hobby, or unique talent or gift you have. It my also be a significant role you play as a partner, partner or colleague. area of life you want to not only want improve. Based on where you are now what would make this week perfect in that area for you? For example, what would perfection look like for you as you build your career? One of my favorite inspirations is Shaun T, even as a top fitness expert he is always define what perfection means to him, and as a result pushing his business and his body further. Let's look at an area I'm working on - being a great mother. What makes a perfect mother? Well when I ask my son he wants a mother is supportive, compassionate, loving and kind. The great thing is these same qualities will help me become an even better coach. The pursuit of perfection has its benefits. When you work to perfect your thinking, your words or your craft you inevitably invest in designing you. Even if the bar is obscurely set beyond reach the journey nonetheless can make you a better pilot navigating through your beautiful life. So for which are of life are you redefining perfection - money, relationships, career? Leave a post and share your path to perfection. I committed to making 2015 my year to grow. To expand my mind, my business and my heart (Amen) And just as I glued that last image promoting growth and expansion on my vision board, viola! here comes growth in all of it's experiential glory. I was quickly reminded that the process of growth is equal parts fun, excitement, play, and also grueling, arduous, defeating, and sometime painful! When my son experiences teenage growth spurts he complains that his knees hurt and reaches for some yoga balm - similar to tiger balm without the potent odor. I remind him that without some pain he wouldn't experience such profound growth. Well that's true for other ways in which we grow - mentally, emotionally and spiritually. In this week's Sun-day design remember growing hurts so good! Relish in the positive tension you feel as you learn, do and become a better version of you. There may be an area in your life where you're practicing moving that space in your life to the next level. You're reading the books, journaling and doing the work to transform. Each day you're more aware, present and perceptive, and that progress allows you to see how much work you still need to do. So if you're working to grow your money you'll need to create and stick to that budget, bye bye sporadic spending (ooh, pain). Looking to heal important relationships in your life then you have to be willing to own your part of the breakdown and feel the labor pains of rebuilding the relationship - that by the way is a reflection of the relationship you have with you (ouch, that's a blow). Even building your business whether it's bricks and mortar, product based or online services, the learning demands are constant. This week turn that sore spot to a sweet spot, massaging that space of growth with love, compassion, and understanding. When you feel that tinge of anxiety, frustration or disappointment just smile because you know you're growing. Leave a comment and share your personal growth story. The way we tell our story will determine how we continue to experience not only the event or situation, it holds true for how we view the full spectrum of our lives.
