Have you ever done or said something that was completely out of character for you? I'm not referring to behavioral side effects from some medication, I'm talking about moments when you take a big bold bodacious step out of your itty bitty square box. The funny thing is it's precisely those moments when you step out of that little box you created do you feel free - released of fear, anxiety and judgment, even if for a brief moment. You feel it. In this week's Sun-day design I want you to spend one day acting out of character. For just 24 hours practice living, saying and doing things that express yourself in ways you've only thought about. Even as you claim to be forthcoming and transparent it's inevitable that the inner critic in your head will talk you down off the ledge of courage. To build your reservoir practice saying and doing things out of character. Spend the whole day playing with your kids, show your partner what you desire in your relationship, tell the truth to yourself and your loved ones of our course with love and care. Trust the process of acting out of character builds your self-confidence and self-trust which inevitably leads to a more meaningful relationship with you and others. One filled with understanding, compassion and support. Last week I lovingly told my son I would not purchase summer clothes for him. This is completely out of character for me as I long held this theory is that when it's about me son "I'll find be money". Look, I'm all for manifesting magic and yes the resources do come, but as I thought about it, I considered ways he can allocate money earned from his summer job to updating his wardrobe. My acting out of character actually empowers him. He can manifest the money from his summer job and further his dreams too. Be sure to leave a comment and share ways you also commit to acting out of character this week.
