Ever have a week where you spend all your time and energy on things that just completely drain you? That leaves you feeling dubious of your talent, perplexed over your career direction, or stressed with home and work life commitments that leaves you narrowly getting 4 hours sleep. If the answer is yes then it's time to change things. Remember it’s your right - not a privilege - to live a rich, fulfilling life. A life where you feel strong, valued, thriving, and achieving more. Or what I call a life in 3D! The one who can create and essentially give birth to THAT life is you. The "extra" time to work on your body, save more money, cook healthier meals, or expand your career doesn’t just appear. You have to use your magic to create that time. That means prioritizing your to-do list so that you spend time doing the things that are important or most meaningful to you and say no to the people, things and activities that don’t nourish or help you move closer your dreams. Finding the time to do even the smallest things you enjoy in life is key. I make time in the morning to list to my favorite music. I spend 8-10 hours furthering my practice. I make time on the weekends to do something fun with my son - because my dream is that when he grows up he has memories of a loving and fun mom, not just of me fussing for him to clean his room. Giving birth to the life you want takes time and thoughtful planning. As this next week begins I want you to purposefully choose what you want to give birth to. Similar into the joy a parent feels giving birth or at the adoption of a child, think about what it takes for you to give birth to your dreams, your hopes and aspirations. Or simply self-care. Sure it takes time, but what else? Passion, commitment, strength? What’s your birth plan? This blog is dedicated to three beautiful babies who came into the world this week – Noah, Cole, and Amaya. Their arrival inspires and reminds us all that we are always giving birth to energy in what and whom we love. Comments are closed.
