Forget being stuck in a rut! It's just as easy to find yourself stuck in the standard. Comatose in the status quo, mulling through your days in a sub-par job, living with someone you don't really like (by the way, that person is you) and watching your inner light dim as you spend less and less time doing what you love. Well, sometimes you need to have a break-up to have a breakthrough and in this case the person you need to let go for a while is you. In this week's Sun-day design I want you to stop pinning over your hum drum life and ignite your inspiration by donating your gifts to someone in need. When your creative juices are drained it's time for you to light the fire inside. Yes, I'm asking you to give in order to receive. Share your talents with someone in need. This is more than donating money to a charity or spending time in a soup kitchen. Whatever your innate gift is you're here to give it to the world and receive compensation for it too. That reciprocity may be monetary, emotional, spiritual or physical rejuvenation. Here's an example, a few weeks ago I was feeling uninspired and less than enthusiastic about one of my other jobs. I felt creatively drained and found it difficult to come up with new products and ideas. To ignite my inspiration I stopped thinking about this work on focused on another area of life, namely my gifts and contributions as a life coach. That always excites me. I offered free coaching to a friend on her business model, and in focusing on her dreams and innovative ideas I became so engaged and captivated by what she was doing I couldn't help but to feel like, yes, I want some of that too! The ideas and concepts for my other job came flooding through. You have many of your own talents and gifts to choose from. This week pick one, and give it away to someone who is pursuing their dreams too. Watch how the light in that person's eyes catches yours.
